DAY 1 LVIV
Situated in the Western part of Ukraine, L'viv, the "City of Lions", is its heart and soul. Lviv is a city-museumat the open air where each street has its legend and history full of different peripeteia from politics to love.

DAY 2 LVIV

There are 50% of all architectural monuments of Ukraine in Lviv. That is why the centre of the city is considered to be historic and architect reservation. Variety and mixture of different styles of all epochs beginning from 13 century, find their reflection in grey stone buildings of Lviv. Gothic and baroque, renaissance and Roman style, rococo and Empire, modern eclectic and constructivism are combined in it architecture.

The city tour starts at the Opera House, then you will walk down Svoboda Avenue, which is laid out above the enclosed underground Poltva River. On your way You will have a look at historic building housing The Maria Zankovetska Drama Theatre that was once the biggest in Europe and is the oldest in Ukraine. You will see the oldest and most gorgeous churches and cathedrals in the Old Town including Baroque style Jesuit Cathedral, the Virgin Mary’s Assumption church, the Armenian Cathedral with 16-17th century tombstones, Church of the Blessed Eucharist (former Dominican Church), the Latin Cathedral and the Transfiguration Church
Also there is a possibility of visiting the High Castle with a perfect view not only of the city but of its suburbs as well.

The most popular tourist itinerary is one, which leads to Olesk, Zolochiv and Pidhirtsi - these small villages are famous for their age-old majestic castles. From a distance we can see the powerful defensive building on the picturesque hill in Olesk, which walls are formed of the cutted stone blocks, they "remember" a lot of invasions of polyglot invaders. And within some kilometers there is one more castle, quite not like the previous. It's alike a fairy-tale palace with the slender towers, shining versatile mosaic tile and playful decoration.

Ternopil land is one of the largest open air museums in the world, the museums created by god. The third part of all survival castles and fortress in Ukraine are located there.   • Visiting Ternopil Castle
The city’s main point of interest is considered to be the Old Castle, whose history started almost 500 years ago. It is the oldest surviving construction in Ternopil. Though the castle was a defensive bulwark, it could not escape the ravages of war: the fort was ruined several times, but was rebuilt again and again. In the 19th century, the castle was turned into a Russian classicist palace, and its remaining defenses were annihilated. Today, a stone wall with highly decorated gates surrounds the palace.

It is one of the oldest towns in Ukraine with thousand year’s history. Kamyanets-Podilsky state historical memorial estate is included into the first hundred of the most known museums of Ukraine and is also included in the world register of museums. The area of museums covers 2000 square metres. Here we can see unique collections of painting, numismatics, archeology, ethnography, graphics, photos and documents of history of city and Podolia.

  • The most interesting part of the town is – Old Town – which is situated in the rocky island, at a height of 20-30 m. Essential part of the Old town, it’s pearl, is Old fortress, which is the symbol of Kamyanets-Podilsky. Just like continue of the stone rocky raise the tower of the fortress. Eleven towers are included in the composition of the fortress and all of them have it own history. In the Old Town intertwined buildings of different centuries and styles. Every street, every build has its own history, legend, secret, which it’s bring from the centuries. Kamyanets-Podilsky is called the town under the sky. Visiting it you will be caught in charms of century’s history, which is on the narrow streets, palace buildings, cloisters, churches and unique panorama of the Old Town.

DAY 6 KAMYANETS-PODILSKY – CHERNIVTSI - UZHGOROD

Khotyn was found on the steep bank of the river Dnister where situated the unique of its beauty Khotyn Fortress that during the centuries was eastern fortification of Rych Pospolyta. Near Theatre square there is real masterpiece of Chernivtsi, an architectural symbol of the city, one of seven objectsof Ukrainewere included into the World heritages of UNESCO - former residence of orthodox metropolitans of Bukovyna and Dalmatia. The residence was built on the place of an old Episcopal palace in 1864-1882 by well-known architect Joseph Glavki. This is a nonconventional complex of buildings with prevalence of elements of Byzantian and Romane styles, and with decor motives of Renaissance architecture, gothic style, Eastern moorish and jewish elements. Today J. Fedkovich Chernivtsi national university is located here.

  • Ancient Uzhgorod is often called the “window to Europe”. The city gets its name from the Uzh River, which divides the city into two parts (the old and new sections). Its unique location and multicultural influence have made it one of the most attractive places in western Ukraine. Here, the eclectic architecture of the Austro-Hungarian period is interwoven with buildings of Czechoslovakian constructivist and Soviet modernist styles, next to which blossom splendid Japanese cherry trees and magnolias.
